Frequently Asked QuestionsInterested in our program but still need basic questions answered? Purchasing a puppy is a life changing decision. Here are some FAQ’s aka Frequently Asked Questions about our program and our puppies. Feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions you may have. We want you to have complete confidence in us as your preferred breeder as well as our pups as your perfect family pet!
What is your Pricing?
Puppies are individually priced according to size, parental bloodline, and characteristics.
Our standards start at $1600 and miniatures start at $2500. This covers the cost of the puppy, a sample of food and a copy of vet records. This does not include breeding rights. For an additional fee, you can upgrade your basic package to include microchip, 30 days of insurance coverage, sample of NuVet vitamins, health guarantee, blanket with mom’s scent and snuggle puppy. Breeding rights are available on a limited basis for an additional fee.
Where are you located?
We live in Wytheville, VA, a small southern community conveniently located near I-81
and I-77. We offer delivery options to surrounding areas as well as flight nanny services for a reasonable fee.
Are your parents health tested?
All parents are health tested through Embark and genetically clear. They are seen routinely by our vet and are up-to-date on immunizations. We are in the process of completing OFA testing.
Do your puppies shed?
As our puppies are F1b generation, they should have no-to-low shedding coats according to the genetic results of the parents.
Are your Puppies Hypoallergenic?
Puppies’ no-to-low shedding coats limit dander (dead cells) thereby reducing allergens associated with puppies. We are unable to guarantee a lack of immune response to our puppies as sensitivity and reactions to pet dander vary by individual. Upon request, we can send an allergy test sample cloth to you for a small fee. This cloth will be new from the store (not exposed to laundry products) and we will collect common allergy-producing dander from a potential pup. This will include dried saliva, dried urine cells and dead skin cells as these are the allergens people react to. Sample will be shipped via priority mail. We encourage the cloth be exposed to potential allergy sufferer for more than an hour to validate a potential allergic response. Please have prescribed or over the counter medications available if any reaction occurs. Speak to your doctor concerning allergic reactions.
Are your puppies AKC registrable?
Although our parents are AKC registered, the AKC does not currently recognize our
designer breeds. Our purebred poodles are AKC registerable and we are a recognized AKC breeder.
Do you keep a waitlist?
We currently do keep a waitlist. Feel free to join the wait list by submitting a contact us form indicating the type and size of dog you desire. We accept applications and reservation deposits at the time our puppies are born. We will share when new litters become available on our website, Facebook, and Instagram. You can find our Puppy Application Form to complete in advance on our website.
Do you Deliver Puppies?
We are able to meet halfway to deliver your puppy with a reasonable fee for travel. We live in Wytheville, VA, conveniently located near I-81 and I-77. We have delivered puppies throughout the Mid-Atlantic, NC, TN, KY, NY, and FL. We also provide flight nanny services for a fee depending on flight availability.
Are your puppies potty and crate trained?
Our puppies receive the best care and training during their first 8 weeks. We partner with Puppy Culture to give them ENS stimulation, crate training, potty training, litter box training, and basic commands training. Puppies are not able to fully control bowel/bladder until at least 4mo of age. Although we work extensively to begin training, additional training will be needed. We lay the foundation for your puppy to thrive in a new environment and master potty training under your care. Our TURN KEY puppies are advanced with one on one training.
Fun Fur Facts
Our founding parents are AKC registered. Our puppies will not be AKC registered due to AKC not
recognizing hybrid/designer dogs as an independent recognized breed.
Understanding Hybrid breed generations:
Grading Scheme
F1 = Golden Retriever x Poodle
F1B = F1 Goldendoodle x Poodle
F2 = F1 Goldendoodle x F1 Goldendoodle
Multigen = Two Goldendoodle parents – One parent has to be an F1B or multigen. A Poodle
bred to a multigen Goldendoodle also constitutes a multigen.
The same scheme is used for Aussiedoodle generations as well as Cockapoo generations
